There are two main boards and commissions established by the Town Council to help guide Community Development:  the Planning Commission; the Board of Zoning Appeals. Both groups meet at Town Hall and the public is always welcome and encouraged to attend.

Planning Commission

The Moncks Corner Planning Commission meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00 at Town Hall.  The Commission recommends annexations, rezonings, and new ordinances to the Town Council.  

Board of Zoning Appeals

The Moncks Corner Board of Zoning Appeals meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00 at Town Hall when an application has been received. The Board votes on special exceptions and variances.
